Family Targeted Marketing Agency Steel Branding Announces Additional Owner Amy Bailey

AUSTIN, Texas (March 16, 2015) — Steel Branding, a communications firm focused on marketing to the family, has named Amy Bailey, currently Vice President of Public Relations, as its newest owner in the company. Bailey will join fellow owners—Founder William Cutshall, President Kirsten Cutshall, and Creative Director Denise Waid, as a shareholder.

In her role, Bailey will lead the public relations practice at the agency overseeing public relations, social media and content marketing. With Steel’s focus on marketing to the family, Amy will bolster focus on Millennial parenting and the consumption habits of today’s families. Additionally, she will continue to provide strategic counsel to Steel Branding clients in the healthcare sector.

“It’s an amazing opportunity to be a part of a leadership team that values what my personal life brings to my professional career,” said Bailey. “Curiosity is not only a company value of Steel but a prerequisite to working here. Each of us is asked to use our life experience to improve what we do here. Even when I’m not working, I’m developing my personal family marketing toolkit. I might spot a trend while shopping at the grocery store for my family or subconsciously problem-solve for one of our clients when I’m browsing Babies R Us. It’s inspiring!”

Bailey joined Steel Branding in 2009 and has served some of the agency’s largest clients. In 2012, she relocated to Los Angeles to manage Steel Branding’s Los Angeles office delivering public relations services to a portfolio of clients in the entertainment industry. Most recently, Bailey was appointed Vice President of Public Relations of the agency’s home office in Austin, Texas.

“Steel Branding was founded on the principals of Adthropology™,” said Kirsten Cutshall, President at Steel Branding. “The ability to provide our clients strategic counsel through the lens of true understanding of their target consumers’ lifestyles, challenges and behaviors is a very powerful tool. Paired with an extremely smart business acumen and the ability to create tangible PR opportunity for clients, Amy brings a unique perspective into family targeted marketing through millennial parenting and consumption of today’s growing family.”

Bailey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from The University of Texas at Austin. Throughout her career, Bailey has a depth of healthcare experience. She is URAC accredited, HIPPA trained, and works day-to-day with regulating bodies – FDA, HHSC, the Department of Defense, TDI, and CMS.
