Steel Branding Receives Mentor Protégé Program Sponsorship from The Texas A&M University System

AUSTIN, Texas (August 10, 2018) –Award-winning Austin-based full-service advertising agency, Steel Branding, announced its sponsorship as a participant in the Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Mentor Protégé Program from The Texas A&M University System. Steel Branding has also been selected to mentor a protege, Urban Circle, LLC, to teach best practices and share its successes with government outreach and marketing.

“The Steel Branding team is committed to ideas that truly make an impact and drive results for our clients. We believe that better vendor choices deliver stronger results for Texas,” said Kirsten Cutshall, Steel Branding Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited to work with The Texas A&M University System to show our commitment in the education space.”

As specialists in family marketing, Steel’s core competencies are in higher education and government contracting. Steel Branding has 10 years’ experience as a prime HUB and believes that broadening the pool means better results and opportunities to share best practices. Our agency has a team dedicated to our education clients, which has allowed them to develop strong relationships and understand the contributions that these organizations are making to improve our education system.

The purpose of the Mentor Protégé Program is to assist in fostering long-term relationships between Prime Contractors and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs). The ultimate goal of the program is to provide developmental assistance to HUBs that will potentially increase their ability to contract directly with the State of Texas, state agencies and institutions of higher education and/or to obtain subcontracting opportunities through their prime contractors.
