When WellQor Behavioral Health came to Steel Advertising, the company had an ambitious mission: transition their geriatric counseling practice to online services for all ages and adults, and grow the practice aggressively in a space crowded with national competitors. What it lacked was the brand presence and digital experience to match the high level of care and service that the practice delivered.

WellQor wasn’t just entering a new demographic and competitive market. It was in a highly trust-dependent category. In this industry, people don’t “shop around.” They search in moments of urgency. If a brand doesn’t immediately feel credible, human, and legitimate, they leave. WellQor needed to build a brand strong enough to sign up clients and scale nationwide.

As a startup, WellQor lacked the brand recognition and digital authority of established competitors. The challenge was to evolve the company’s geriatric-focused practice by building a new brand, website, and marketing strategy designed to attract and grow a broader audience. WellQor’s identity needed to inspire trust, its messaging needed clarity, its website needed to convert, and the entire patient experience needed to build long-term relationships and referrals.

Here’s How We Did It

After researching the market, audience, brand, and competition, Steel Advertising worked with WellQor to rebuild the brand from the ground up. We defined what set the practice apart and created a personality rooted in close, lasting patient relationships, resulting in a system that communicates credibility and calm confidence.

We introduced the “Love You More” platform to express WellQor’s high-touch, concierge approach, giving the company a consistent voice as it expanded into new markets and audiences. We then designed a high performance website focused on trust and action, with clear navigation, approachable messaging, and seamless user experience across devices—continuously optimized for lead generation. We focused on organic growth through directory listings, strong reviews, and supportive patient communication. We also developed recruitment marketing and used targeted PPC campaigns to balance patient mix and drive volume by state.
