In 2019, the City of Georgetown partnered with Steel to revamp its online identity. The goal was to create a website that engages residents and exceeds community expectations. This project was designed to enhance the city’s online identity by improving its digital presence and making the platform more accessible and user-friendly for residents.
To begin, Steel conducted thorough research to better understand the needs and preferences of Georgetown’s residents. This research included input from city staff, employees, and, most importantly, the residents themselves. We also analyzed the current website and pinpointed areas that needed improvement. Through this research, we gained valuable insights into how Georgetown’s residents interact with city services and what they expect from a digital platform.
